Sharon volunteers her time to New York Cares. An organization that helps people in many different ways. Here's some of what she wrote:
Hello there! I actually volunteer through New York Cares. It's actually nice because they do all different types of things ... adults, children, shelters, tutoring, environmental and others. The nice part is they send you a calendar (after a quick orientation) and let you know the next months events. you can pick and choose and not be obligated each week (unless you pick one that requires it) they do things like baseball games, circus, museums, hospitals, holiday parties, office stuff, reading nights, tutoring, serving homeless etc.Sharon
